The crucial requirement for admission to the MS-MOT Program is a history that demonstrates the applicant has the potential and desire for graduate study. All students must have completed a four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) before beginning the program. Application Requirements

The following items should be submitted online here:

  • Completed Application for Admission to Graduate Study, along with $65.00 application fee.
  • A personal essay in English. Prepare a brief but careful statement regarding: 1) the reasons you wish to do graduate work in this field, including your immediate and long-range objectives; and 2) your specific research or professional interest and experiences in this field. To be submitted online with the application.

The following items should be submitted electronically to the Program Coordinator, Andrew [dot] Sharp [at] unh [dot] edu (Andrew Sharp):

  • A copy of your résumé in English.
  • Two colored photographs of yourself, 1.75" x 2"

  • Three Recommendation Letters in English, one each from your supervisor, professor, and/or co-worker. Recommendation letters should be signed or stamped by the issuer and mailed in a sealed envelope.
  • Original copies of academic transcripts from all colleges and/or universities you have attended (in English). College and university transcripts should be signed or stamped by the issuers and mailed in a sealed envelope.
  • Test Requirements: One of the following: TOEFL Paper-based Test (550 minimum); TOEFL Computer-based Test (213 minimum); or TOEIC (750 minimum). The English test may be waived if applicant earned the Bachelor's Degree or higher in an English-speaking country, or under other special circumstances. The GMAT may be waived if the applicant has a Master's Degree or under other special circumstances.

The deadline for application is March 1, 2010. Admission decisions are made approximately by May 1, 2010.
