BS Business Administration Learning Goals

Have enumerated specific learning goals to help define and measure outcomes. The learning goals for the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration program were developed by faculty in collaboration with external advisory boards.

The Business Administration program goals are:

• Students will demonstrate broad knowledge of and proficiency in the core functional and support areas of business.
• Students will demonstrate specific competence in a chosen area of business.
• Students will demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills, in various forms.
• Students will incorporate an understanding of ethical, social, and legal issues in reaching business-related decisions.
• Students will creatively and critically apply their knowledge and technological skills in identifying and solving business problems.
• Instill in students the desire to engage in life-long learning, as demonstrated by ongoing personal and professional development.
