MBA Accreditation
UNH is one of only two MBA programs in New Hampshire accredited by AACSB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the top accrediting body in the world. There are 466 schools world-wide whose programs have met or exceeded these standards, placing UNH in an elite group of area institutions such as Babson, Boston College, Boston University, Dartmouth College, Harvard, and MIT. While they are also accredited by AACSB, only UNH has a one-year program.
Additionally, UNH's MBA programs are accredited by NEASC, The New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The NEASC serves more than 2,000 public and independent schools, colleges and universities in the six states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont and American/international schools in more than sixty nations worldwide.
Don't accept any other accreditation. There are schools that offer shorter or even less expensive programs, but most are not accredited by AACSB. Carefully consider the difference between AACSB accreditation, and other accreditations such as ACBSP, Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs. While both acronyms may sound alike, they are very, very different. AACSB accreditation is the gold standard; it is the ISO 9000 of graduate business education.
