ECON 798, Economics of Climate Change - In the spring of 2010, the Whittemore School of Business Economics will offer you a unique chance to get a deep insight into the economic issues regarding global climate change. The course is open to all students who have taken intermediate microeconomics as well as graduate students from other departments.

Students who enroll in the Economics of Climate Change (above) have the option of also participating in an extraordinary two-credit course on European Policy related to climate change. Students in this course will travel to Copenhagen, Denmark (host city for the 2009 international climate summit) to meet with Danish and European policy experts, academics, and scientists.

ECON 798, European Policy and Climate Change (2 credits) - This course is open to all students enrolled in the Economics of Climate Change Course, but will only be offered if there is sufficient demand. 

Students who enroll in the Economics of Climate Change (above) have the option of also participating in an extraordinary two-credit course on European Policy related to climate change.  Students in this course will travel to Copenhagen, Denmark (host city for the 2009 international climate summit) to meet with Danish and European policy experts, academics, and scientists.

Therefore, please contact Professor Mohr if interested. The course requires international travel during the week of Spring Break 2010. Course fee: $950. Fee covers accommodation, some meals, and all events. Students must purchase airfare separately (we will travel as a group).
